S-Locknut

 Alternative method to solve fastening problem is our single part S-Locknut.
All steel construction, free spinning and self-locking withstand high temperatures and are easy to apply saving time in assembly and maintenance. The continuous-line contact spreads the clamp force evenly over all engaged threads, eliminating gap between the crest of the threads thus  eliminating vibrational loosening,

S-Locknut

HOW IT WORKS

  Mating with standard 60 deg. bolt threads, the asymmetric threads enables the nut to spin freely until locking occur.  Once nut is locked, its asymmetric threads eliminates radial clearance, creates a strong axial load and will not vibrate loose.  S-Locknut - self locking vibration resistant nuts  are reusable. 

        Note: 

      Self locking S-Locknut should be used with standard bolt threads class 2A.
