For the slip fit the shaft diameter must be within -.0005 -.002

Installation

 Screw the slitted sleeve into your pulley or gear, and hand tighten.  Insert sleeve/pulley assembly onto a shaft.  Hold the pulley, and with a wrench torque the nut against the component.  The component will slide axially on the shallow inclines of the sleeve threads, generating a high radial forcelocking thecomponentand simultaneously contracts the slitted sleeve causing to grip the shaft.
